Menschen A1 German Course Book is a textbook for beginners in the language learning. Menschen A1 German Course Book introduces learners without previous knowledge of German Language in two volumes each to the German language levels A1, A2, and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference and prepares for the usual examinations of the respective language level. People base their selection of topics on the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference and additionally pick up content from current life in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The introduction to each lesson is through an interesting photo that is often combined with a “listening image” and represents the initial impulse. There are first tasks that introduce to the topic of the lesson. The entry situation is taken up again on the double page and deepened. You will also find here a box with the lesson objectives.
Double page Menschen A1 German Course Book
Starting with the entrances, new structures and speeches are introduced and practiced on a double page. The new word box of the lesson is prominently displayed in the header as a “picture dictionary”. Clear grammar, information plus speech boxes make the new substance aware. In the following tasks, the structures are initially practiced mostly in guided, then freer form. In the double page exercises are also embedded, which are attached to the “action pages”. These tasks enable real communication in the classroom and provide authentic speech and writing events.
